Ready to start hacking? Here’s everything you need to know to participate:

1. Choose a Problem: Your project must address a health-related challenge. You can focus on one of these suggested tracks or come up with your own idea:

  • Mental Health: Solutions for well-being, stress management, or connecting people with resources.

  • Accessible Healthcare: Tools that make healthcare more available and affordable for everyone.

  • Data & Diagnostics: Using data to improve health tracking, diagnostics, or patient care.

  • Fitness & Lifestyle: Apps and platforms that promote healthier habits and nutrition.

2. Build & Submit: Use your skills to build a working prototype. Your submission must include a brief description of your project, a short video demonstration (2-3 minutes), and a link to your code repository (GitHub, GitLab, etc.).

3. Judging: Projects will be judged on Impact, Innovation, Technical Implementation, and Design. The most creative and well-executed projects will win!

Requirements

What to Build

 

Your project must be a web application, API, or a tool that addresses a health-related problem. We encourage you to be creative and innovative. Your solution should be a functional prototype that demonstrates your idea effectively.

Projects can be built using any web technologies you prefer (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, Node.js, Python/Django, Ruby on Rails, etc.). Make sure your project is a brand new creation for this hackathon and has not been submitted to other events.

 

What to Submit

 

To have your project considered for judging, please submit the following on your Devpost project page:

  1. Project Title and Description: A clear and concise title, along with a detailed description of the problem your project solves and how it works.

  2. Video Demonstration (2-3 minutes): A short video showcasing your project's features and functionality. This is your chance to impress the judges!

  3. Link to Public Code Repository: A link to your code on a public platform like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket. The code must be accessible for review.

  4. Screenshot(s): At least one screenshot of your web application.
